Brief Introduction

Statistics in this chapter show the overall level of urban public utilities in Beijing, which consist of four parts:

1. Basic statistics for urban public utilities in previous years;

2. Water, gas and heating supply and consumption;

3. Urban public transport and taxi services;

4. Main public facilities.

II. Source of Data

Data on urban heating and gas supply were provided by Beijing Municipal Commission of City Administration and Environment; data on tap water were provided by Beijing Water Authority; data on urban public transport and taxi services were provided by Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport; data on roads and main public facilities were provided by Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, Beijing Traffic Management Bureau and Street Lighting Administration Center Of Beijing.
