Explanatory Notes on Main Statistical Indicators

Business Income of Logistics Sector refers to the income earned from logistics business activities, which is equal to the sum of incomes from such logistics operations completed by enterprises as transportation, storage, loading and unloading, handling, package, circulation and processing, delivery, and information. It reflects the overall scale of logistics activities in logistics related sector.

Employees in Logistics Sector refers to the number of persons directly and indirectly engaged in logistics activities in enterprises. Persons directly engaging in logistics activities are those engaging in logistics activities such as transportation, delivery, loading and unloading, handling, storage and warehouse keeping in enterprises and receiving labor remuneration; persons indirectly engaging in logistics activities are those engaging in management activities in enterprises and receiving labor remuneration, including executives in purchase and sales departments, but excluding clerks in purchase and sales departments.

Total Amount of Social Logistics refers to the total value of goods entering the demand area in the city for the first time and having physical flow from the supply place to the receiving place, consisting of value on six aspects: total logistics amount of agricultural products, total logistics amount of industrial products, total logistics amount of imported goods, total logistics amount of goods transferred from other provinces and cities, total logistics amount of recycled resources, and total logistics amount of corporate and household supplies entering the demand field. 

Number of Meeting Held in Beijing refers to the number of various types of conference held in Beijing in the reporting period, including international and domestic conferences.

Number of International Meeting refers to the number of international conferences held in Beijing in the reporting period. International conference means any conference, forum, seminar, report conference, and workshops, etc. held in our country, with participants coming from 3 or more countries and regions (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) outside Chinese mainland.

Number of Exhibitions Held in Beijing refers to the number of various types of exhibitions held in Beijing in the reporting period, including international and domestic exhibitions.

Number of International Exhibitions Received refers to the number of international exhibitions received in the reporting period. International exhibition means any exhibition with participants from countries and regions (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) outside Chinese mainland whose exhibition floorage accounts for more than 20% of the exhibition.  

Number of Incentive Tourists refers to the sum of persons of incentive tour served in the reporting period.

Service Trade includes overseas provision, overseas consumption, commercial existence, movement of natural persons, and so on.

Overseas Provision refers to any service provider provides service within China for service consumers in any other country or region, and any service provider provides service in any other country or region to service consumers within China.  

Gym Management Activities mean management activities in gym providing games for view and special trainings for the public, such as management activities in comprehensive sports venues and training fields and courts.

Sports, Body Building and Entertainment Activities  mean management activities provided for the public at Sports bodybuilding and entertainment sites, which are to be participated in and chosen. 

Sports Agency Activities refer to sport agency activities provided for the public, such as various sports business agency, broker and consulting activities.

Other Sports Activities refer to activities of other sports service provided for the public, including sports training service, sports research service, sports lottery service, sports communication service, sports exhibition service, sports market management service, sports venue design service, sports site cleaning service, sports cultural relics and cultural protection service.

Manufacturing of Sports Supplies, Clothes, Shoes and Caps, and Related Sports Products refers to manufacturing of sports supplies, clothes, shoes and caps, and related sports products necessary for provision of sports service.

Sales of Sports Supplies, Clothes, Shoes and Caps, and Related Sports Products refers to sales of sports supplies, clothes, shoes and caps, and related sports products necessary for provision of sports service.

Gymnasium Building Activities refer to activities of construction of sports venues necessary for provision of sports service.
